Category E+B driving licence

Category B+E driving course in Łomża – car and trailer

A category B+E driving licence is a great choice if you want to tow a car transporter trailer, caravan or heavier cargo trailer legally and without stress. At Podkowa, we teach you how to create a safe car-and-trailer combination — from theory and regulations to practical manoeuvres in tight spaces.

During the course, you practise both on the manoeuvring ground and in road traffic. Your instructor guides you step by step through coupling the trailer, checking the vehicle combination, hill starts, turning around and reversing using the mirrors. This means that after the course, you not only pass the test but, above all, tow a trailer confidently and calmly in everyday driving.

What the driving course includes

• Intensive training in 7–10 days — a focused programme for category B licence holders, centred on practical trailer driving.
• Trailer manoeuvre practice — reversing around a curve, reversing into a parking space and turning around in a confined space.
• Learning to set up the vehicle combination correctly — coupling, securing, and checking the lights, overrun brake and load.
• Driving in urban traffic and outside the city — real-life situations: overtaking, changing lanes and leaving high-speed roads with a trailer.
• Review of regulations and weight limits — maximum authorised mass, payload and permitted vehicle–trailer combinations, with practical examples.
• A relaxed atmosphere and an individual pace — your instructor has time to work through the more difficult elements with you calmly.

Additional options

• Extra driving lessons before the test — additional hours for the most challenging skills: usually reversing, parking and using the mirrors.
• Additional test / retake — if you need another attempt, we help you sort out the paperwork and dates.
• Attend without local residence registration — we help people from outside the region organise their documents and lesson dates.
• Individual consultations with your instructor — we discuss mistakes, test strategy and practical uses of B+E entitlements (car transporter trailer, caravan, cargo trailer).

Our B+E course at Podkowa is for drivers who want more than “just a piece of paper”. We combine intensive, well-planned lessons with an individual approach from your instructor. After completing the course, you feel confident driving a car with a trailer — both during the test and on holiday trips or when working with a car transporter trailer.
